Root Canal Treatment (RCT) is the process of removing the nerve tissue from inside of the tooth. Root Canal threatment is performed mainly for two reasons. 1- Most common reason for RCT is to remove dead or dying nerve tissue inside the tooth as a result of decay or trauma. 2- If the tooth is heavily broken down and not enough tooth structure is remaining, a Post may need to be placed to provide support for a new core and crown. Once RCT is complete, a crown is often needed to provide support and structural integrity to the tooth and prevent it from breaking apart. At Key dental clinic we use state-of-the-art technology such as a dental microscope, and the latest techniques in endodontics to provide the highest quality of care.
